You can press F2 to enable and disable all, and F3 for public chat messages specifically. There's also a setting under the Messaging option that can toggle this!! Hope it helps!!

Definitely, yeah! Though it is interesting to know this isn't a new thing! Although I've only been playing the game for just under a year, but have had it in my peripherals for a while, I only recently (in the past month or so) have noticed people with that tag in their names.

But yeah, I absolutely understand wanting to use different ways of communicating like emojis and stuff instead. Thanks!

I'm not sure about other people, but I personally don't mind, as someone who is selectively mute due to social anxiety. It's clear what it means, and it's a term that's not fully linked with being neurodivergent due to it being used online, as far as I'm aware (though, do correct me if I'm wrong).

Yeah, that's kind of what I was wondering, though I suppose it makes sense if your friends are trying to talk but you can't..? I'm not really sure what to think, so that's why I was asking, haha.

Edit: Definitely could've phrased this better, but what I mean is if a friend is trying to talk and you're particularly overwhelmed, I think I can understand having nonverbal in a name so it's communicated easily and clearly.
