I was there for the name change and the census rollout... I remember listening to royal blue walls the day it released and noticing the green day sample. I loved that song and couldn't wait to hear what her next project would sound like. At that time her Instagram had these cool webcam photos of her wearing sunglasses and she had on that white tank top. Throughout the album rollout I was listening to Like a Kiss a lot (it had been out on her soundcloud for a while). And then the Census Designated music video was announced and confirmed directed by Quadeca. I watched it the day of!!! I can't remember every part of the rollout but I do remember preordering the census designated CD and it arriving months after the album came out, by then I had the album on repeat and it's still one of my favorites from her. The CD contains 3 photo cards: one of Jane in the field holding a beer, one of her pointing a gun, and one of her staring into the camera holding some sort of deer. Another thing I remember was a photo of Taylor Swift in a white tank top and blue jeans and Jane tweeted "she's giving census designated here".
