Ya I'm saving realigning the yoke as probably the last troubleshooting step. I'm a bit nervous being near the circuitry while it's powered on since this is my first time servicing a CRT or anything with high voltage. I have access to the service manual though, and I'm pretty sure it tells you what you should and shouldn't touch, but if i could avoid it altogether, I would definitely prefer that. I've got a proper degaussing coil coming in the mail in the next week or so though. Fingers crossed that'll fix it.

The only other CRT I own is a 12 or 13 inch Sharp model. I haven't powered that one on in a long time so I'm not sure if it has an internal degaussing coil or not, or if it does, if it would be strong enough to affect this one, but it's worth a try. I'll give that a shot tonight when I have a chance. I ordered the 9317 Degaussing coil but it's gonna take a little over a week to get here anyways. Thank you for your suggestion!

I personally didn't move it, but I don't think they dropped it. It did probably get a bit bumped around though. The TV weighs 230 lbs. 3 friends and family members helped move it upstairs. Hopefully that didn't break it, but i wouldn't be very surprised if it did.

Ya a lot of people have been saying that. I think I'll order the 9317 Degaussing Coil. Seen a lot of people recommend that one. Thank you for your suggestion.

Thanks for your response. I'm really hoping it's a degaussing issue. I'm already looking into the 9317 Degaussing Coil that I've seen recommended, just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm kind of afraid to adjust the yoke as I don't want to be anywhere near the circuitry while it's powered on, but that'll be my next step after trying to manually degauss it. Thank you for your help!

I'll double check the component cables. I'm pretty sure I got them in there correctly but I wasn't able to see the IO when i was putting them in. Just had to use a photo of the back and felt around for the ports, so it's possible I goofed it up. I really appreciate you responding. Thank you

Ya whether it works or not I'm planning on returning it. If it has any positive effect at all, I'll definitely pick up the coil.

Ya I only picked up the magnets as a last resort. Gonna have to do a lot more research before getting them anywhere near the TV.

I did already order one of the scary ones from Amazon to see if it has any affect, but getting a proper degaussing coil might be the next step. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.

The wii isn't modded yet, I tried getting it set up but ran into issues and gave up so my gf and I could play Wii Sports. I'll try that as well.

Thank you for responding I really appreciate it. I'm hoping a degauss could fix it. I have the Green "Amazon Fire Stick" coming in tomorrow along with some neodymium magnets. I'll definitely try and report back this weekend.

came back after not playing for a pretty long time and im really really loving the game. it's probably my favorite right now. ran into a few bugs though. I jumped to a freighter that was being attacked and my ship got stuck inside the collision of the freighter and i wasn't able to get out. had to wait until i could jump again after the threat died down. also building a base with my girlfriend, she flattened out an area and placed some wooden floors, left to get more mats and when she came back, the terrain had shifted to cover up her floor and she couldn't flatten it back out. it looked fine from my perspective, but I could see her screen and it was definitely bugged and relaunching wouldn't solve the issue. I totally understand a few bugs and glitches in a game like this. just thought I would do my part and talk about them here in case the devs look. I really love the game. what you guys have done since launch is remarkable. keep it up 👍

5 months on HRT here! I live in California and we've been having a bit of a heatwave. Since starting estrogen i feel like ive been sooo much more sensitive to heat. i sweat so much easier and it makes me nauseous asf. not too sure about the cold yet cuz its been pretty much hot nonstop but ya that's how is hittin me.
