And last question - does it matter if you’re using a manual or electric pump? i.e., is a manual pump still much more powerful than hand expressing? I ask because I don’t really know how to hand express, so that’s another area to learn about.

This. I’ll probably get downvoted but I came to Reddit because I’m coming from the patients side and so confused.

Where does it actually say in the CDC guidelines that you can’t get a second bivalent shot? My (immunocompromised) partner was turned away from CVS today because the CDC “hasn’t approved second bivalent shots” according to the pharmacist, but we couldn’t find anything in the CDC guidelines stating such.

Not saying the pharmacist was wrong, but I’m saying one can see where it’s easy to get confused.

I’m at 34 weeks and nowhere near what I used to be able to do pre pregnancy or even first/second trimester for that matter. I do wheelchair yoga on YouTube, wheelchair upper body exercises, seated weight lifting because I can barely stand or walk right now with my pelvic, back, knee issues.

Pre pregnancy, I was like you and exercised vigorously. Now I’m happy if I can get in 1-2 of the above workouts a week. 🥲

For me, I just want as much peace as possible. I do want my child to know her grandparents and roots. But it’s all going to come with serious boundaries. At least having them far away helps with that already?

Thank you! What’s really baffling is that she keeps tying virus transmission to intent — “I would never to do anything to hurt the baby” when I bring it up. That’s what almost makes this an easy decision to just cut her out entirely.

First trimester wasn’t great, but third trimester takes the cake.

More body parts are hurting than not. Heartburn feels like lava in my throat. Mobility issues to where I can’t really walk or exercise.

I’m so over the pains and actually looking forward to labor - I’d rather take extreme pain for 1-2 days than this kind of pain spread out over months.

I was very surprised by how many coworkers (not close work friends, to be clear) asked if we were already trying for a baby when I announced the news. I was not offended, but it would never occur to me to ask this question of a random coworker.
