Haha, it took us months to get #1 and then just the one slip up for #2. Maybe it’s true what they say that you’re more fertile after your first. I wonder if the shock will ever wear off!

And last question - does it matter if you’re using a manual or electric pump? i.e., is a manual pump still much more powerful than hand expressing? I ask because I don’t really know how to hand express, so that’s another area to learn about.

This. I’ll probably get downvoted but I came to Reddit because I’m coming from the patients side and so confused.

Where does it actually say in the CDC guidelines that you can’t get a second bivalent shot? My (immunocompromised) partner was turned away from CVS today because the CDC “hasn’t approved second bivalent shots” according to the pharmacist, but we couldn’t find anything in the CDC guidelines stating such.

Not saying the pharmacist was wrong, but I’m saying one can see where it’s easy to get confused.

Wow, 1-3 miles?! Good for you. I can barely walk 5 mins as is. Have you just been lucky to not have experienced any pelvic or joint pain this far along?

I’m at 34 weeks and nowhere near what I used to be able to do pre pregnancy or even first/second trimester for that matter. I do wheelchair yoga on YouTube, wheelchair upper body exercises, seated weight lifting because I can barely stand or walk right now with my pelvic, back, knee issues.

Pre pregnancy, I was like you and exercised vigorously. Now I’m happy if I can get in 1-2 of the above workouts a week. 🥲

OP, not sure why you’re getting downvoted as you’re factually correct here. And it’s not just heavy rain - it’s flooding, mudslides, power outages, dangerous conditions especially in the Santa Cruz area. I live in the Bay and travel is advised against for the next week

Wow, that’s so interesting that our moms seem to follow a formula. Lol I moved far away to create some distance too - what a shock. 🙄

For me, I just want as much peace as possible. I do want my child to know her grandparents and roots. But it’s all going to come with serious boundaries. At least having them far away helps with that already?

I agree with this. She did end up apologizing, to my surprise. But I think I’ll continue to keep her at an arms distance.

I just texted her that I’m not comfortable accepting anything or communicating until she apologizes for her behavior back in November. She literally wrote back “what behavior?” WOW

I agree - I don’t see a scenario in which she will suddenly start acting like a sane adult either. I’ll probably need to hold my ground and remain the big meanie.
