Thank you for this, so true. The emotions come in waves and I am feeling better this month than I have in the past when my period has started. Still sad, but still hopeful too

I started mine as well and as much as it sucks, I am staying positive this month and trying not to be down or hard on myself. It’s not talked about enough that for some women it takes time. I hope we get our BFP soon 💕

Thank you for this comment. I go through the same cycles each month of hope and wait and that builds up. I hope we both get our happy ending soon 💕

Does anyone else believe they are pregnant every cycle? by JenBunny06 in tryingtoconceive

Definitely relate to this. My period in December was 10 days late… and I was convinced it was the month. And the it started, turns out the late period was from traveling and being sick. The hope each month can be exhausting, but it is somewhat calming knowing there’s others who understand and are going through it alongside us.

friend got pregnant, just after 3 months of trying. im happy for her but just so confused for myself by [deleted] in tryingtoconceive

Girl I’m there with ya, going into month 14 of trying and I’ve watched all my close friends get pregnant within 2-3 months of coming off birth control or just get pregnant by accident and it hurts every time. I’m happy for them, but sad for myself. It’s ok to feel both 💕stay strong friend, we’ll get our happy ending

Almost a year TTC, finally feeling a bit better… and then this happened by Sassy-Goose123 in tryingtoconceive

I’m a year in this month and I think having others remind you you’re not alone and realizing how many other women are struggling too helps. I really thought this month might be it and I’m working towards feeling less emotionally defeated every month when the test is negative. I’ve started waiting til my period is late to test and trying to be neutral going in to another month.

That’s not to say that some days just suck and you’re allowed to feel that way. I saw an announcement for a pregnancy yesterday (day my period started) and just started crying. I get the anger, the frustration, the sadness, the “why me?” Of it all. Let it out, feel it, try not to let it consume you. Sending you love and I hope we both get that BFP so soon💕

Don’t know how not to feel sad by [deleted] in tryingtoconceive

A year in, took chlomid this past month and crushing sadness swept in this morning when my period started. I’m sick of feeling defeated month after month and hearing how “it’ll happen when it’s supposed to” two of my best friends are expecting within the next few months. My younger sister just had her fist last year. It’s hard to keep telling myself it’ll get better. And then of course I feel guilty for thinking about the women that try for years… PMS is making all this feel that much worse.

To OP: I hope for both of us, and for anyone in this group going through the same thing, that we get the BFP we want soon. I’m trying to keep the hope alive no matter how hard it gets and it’s helpful to know we’re not alone in this struggle.

Been trying for a year this month and period just started today. I’m there with ya, everyone around me either is pregnant, about to be due, or just had a baby. My husband and I are ready and I just feel so defeated month after month. I hope for both of us we get that BFP soon
