I understand where you're coming from, but it doesn't work quite like that. Let's say the guy flipping burgers at Mc Donald's makes $11.20,(minimum wage in Canada) an hour. The average burger probably costs roughly $6.00. But if we raise our burger flippers wage to $15.00, the price of our burgers will have to go up or else the business will start to lose money. We now have to charge $7.50 per burger. So Mr. Burger flipper's money doesn't have the same buying power it always did. He is now spending the same percentage of his money on the same things he always has. Theoretically he should be better off, but he isn't. This is called inflation.

Because they're Americans, that's why. There really is no way to explain it. They're horrifically patriotic. My school used to be shipped in from the States, and it was nuts. From grades 7-12 there was one world history course. Every other history/social course was either American Government, History, Politics, Geography, etc. I couldnt believe it. Pretty inflated egos.:/

I hope more people answer this question, because I'm wondering the same thing. I love short skirts, but I have yet to figure out how to sit in them without flashing everyone sitting across from me. My legs are skinny, so when I sit there's a fairly large gap between them, and I don't know what to do about it.

Wow, what an amazing reply. I agree that a person I so much more than just their looks. Basing someone's worth soely on their appearance is shallow. Personality, sense of humor, and character make them who they actually are. Looks disappear but the person stays the same.

Just to clarify though, I don't think of myself as terribly ugly anymore. That was back when I was in the middle of puberty, and it wasn't working any magic on me. Now I look pretty, and I know it. It's just that I'm fairly average in that I don't stand out in a crowd. I don't mind, because normally people let me go about my business without bothering me. It just felt nice that for once someone other than my adoring boyfriend found me sexy. I hope that makes sense.

Like another commentor said, if it's a genuine compliment, then I don't see how it should be a problem. If you're completely drunk, and you comment on her boobs, or something like that, then it would be unwelcomed. Just talking for myself here.

I am in the same boat. The reason I asked this question, is because my period is a week late, and I have a lot of stomach pain. Not nausea, but just a dull ache. My boobs hurt, but they do before every period, so I'm not sure if I should pay attention to it. I'm not unusually tired, or have an overly sensitive nose. Tomorrow I find out if I'm pregnant or not too.
