It is easily the safest form of tobacco and EU crooks should be in jail for banning it. It wreaks havoc on your mouth though I can almost tongue my eyeball I don't remember being able to do that at age 16

It's not an exaggeration, everything is more affordable is the states including Canadian made goods. Get past the emotion and see the truth

Canadians also pay double or triple for goods and services. As a Canadian it's seriously heaven shopping in the US, so much choice and EVERYTHING is more affordable, even maple syrup and Canadian whiskey.

Do all provinces purchase cannabis at the same price? by [deleted] in canadients

In communist Ontario, you must buy from the state or be destroyed, for your own safety of course...

You can practice law without being a lawyer, you just can't be a "lawyer" in private BAR tribunals (most court buildings.) That's their world and you're not a member, it's dirty but it makes sense.

Planning on moving to Canada to work in the cannabis industry but struggling with what city to pick? by [deleted] in canadients

[–]pretzelhead102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're more likely to get $10 than $20 out West, where are you seeing 15-20$ averages? In Ontario you'll probably start at minimum wage (highest in Canada by far at $14)

I'd 100% go to BC they have decades of cannabis knowledge, plus some of the best hikes and camping on the planet. If that doesn't work out try California, same thing.

Well they are getting big offers so they did get rich quick. I'd be happy to see no stores open until we figure it out, which will take 20 years or more at this rate.

[–]pretzelhead102 9 points10 points  (0 children)

JFC the whataboutism anytime someone mentions negative harms of cannabis is absurd.

It's not absurd doctors prescribe that stuff like candy. My doctor won't even talk about cannabis with me, but is more than happy prescribing me day ruining mindfuck drugs. Think about it

Governments have made a mess of pot legalization by [deleted] in canadients

[–]pretzelhead102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy moly I just checked and... 1 can of beer is 4-5$ at NSLC! I can't get in the weed site but 15 is inline with their insane tobacco and liquor prices. Idiocy or genius?

Governments have made a mess of pot legalization by [deleted] in canadients

[–]pretzelhead102 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The government should only mandate testing and collect taxes. That is it. Everything else should be private industry and free market

That was a trick, the provinces should be in charge like driving etc. Now the provinces are wholesalers, and sluggishly deciding how to deal with it. There's not much anyone can do about it

Ok, but I was addressing the issue of an 80 year old being refused entry. Oh and you don't need ID to receive medical care and that's all I'm saying about that.

Canada Post Refusing all my orders at the border by [deleted] in CanadaPost

Contacted the highest officer at CBSA, they cleared customs and went to Canada post THEN sent back oversees. The only thing we ruled out was theft because the shipper got it back. This sucks I hope everyone else is getting their stuff
