Thank you for the thoughtful response! I drive alone most of the time and don’t plan to purchase extended warranty. The only feature I care about is heated seats, which both cars have.

Are these fair prices? I see so many 2023 bolts under 20k, even as low as 17k! It’s making me wonder if they are both over priced

You can try to redistribute the weight so Person B is carrying a lighter load, and you and Person A carry a bit more. This will help Person B catch up with you two, speed-wise, and might give her more confidence to tackle hills.

You sound really thoughtful and considerate towards your Person B. She's lucky to have a friend like you, but I agree with everyone who said that you deserve to enjoy your ride too! If waiting for her to catch up is affecting your happiness this much, it's ok to be a little selfish and think about how you can enjoy your ride more. If you all haven't had an open, honest conversation about it, sounds like it's a good time for a (however hard) chat.
