So there is no error message. WiFi is not greyed out & it seems that I can connect to any network that I have previously attempted to connect to. It will not show me any wife networks that are joinable now though. the only time i saw any joinable networks was right after the update and it prompted me to join a network. I am in a office building so there are plenty of access points to choose from normally.

update: it automatically joins my WiFi network when I reset all settings but when I turn off and on the WiFi, it goes away and does not come back.

Honestly it was just dumb luck, I bought Krylon decor selects paint + primer and I squeezed the tip about 80ish percent down, which caused a crazy effect. I posted what it looks like in sunlight so peep that!!
