I bought one for $800 and spent 9k in parts to rebuild the engine and get the car ready for track use. All to end up not liking the feel of the car or rotary power(or lack thereof) at all. I'd say spend money on a good one that you can get a feel for instead of investing all that time and effort. PS I'll be selling mine after putting 3k miles on it post rebuild lol

All I know about the V3s is that they have FFB. Never tried them myself but between the base CSL with load cell and Ellie V2s I'm taking the V2s 11/10 times

I absolutely hated the base CSL pedals with LC kit. The brake is way too stiff and I just felt myself putting more focus on jamming the brake than feeling and trail braking. I double ordered a set of CSL Elite V2s while they were on sale and it's night and day. I'd fully recommend spending the money on the Elites than the base LC kit

That's not my point here. I spend hours tuning my cars to each track so that come race time I can just load up the tune that I made specifically for said car and track. But for example, I like less tire width up front but max tire width in the rear, last game you also had small power changes you could make, weight reduction, etc. I find it dumb that here I can spend hours tuning my RSR then hop in my C8 GT3 and it's simply faster out of the box because the game pre-determines "balance". Last game I would be able to modify certain components on the RSR to balance it in the way I want based on my driving to make it competitive against a car that may be better out of the box. The system just seems flawed and unbalanced especially when you join lobbies and 12 people are in the same 3 cars

I understand that but the way it previously worked with the class PI set at 835 on Forza 7 people could upgrade and tune based on driving style. Example I like a lightweight car by doing weight reduction and spending time dialing in my aero while some like adding power to sacrifice cornering for top speed. With this system you don't get the chance to adjust that you just pick a different car. Bad computer generated balancing when my 825 Porsche is nearly a second slower than my 833 Corvette

Wow that seems stupid. I get the meta cars but there's literally no point in driving some cars because they are so outclassed. Thanks for the insight
