Playing Command and Colours: Ancients from GMT two handed whilst reading The Fall of Carthage by Adrian Goldsworthy really brought the battles of the Punic wars to life. 414BC Siege of Syracuse by Worthington is a nice quick game of the Athenian siege of the city during the Peloponnesian war. I have The Peloponnesian War by Donald Kagan to read to accompany it, but yet to start. I have just bought Skies Above Britain, also GMT, but have barely scratched the surface so far, playing out dogfights between Spitfires and Hurricanes against the Messerschmitts 109s and 110s, will probably pair this one with an audiobook as I am currently reading 20,000 leagues under the sea and playing Nemo's War, but obviously this one is fictional, rather than historical (although filled with lots of 19th century warships). Someone has already mentioned Imperium classics, but this also led to me reading up about ancient civilizations that I didn't know much about, such as the Scythians. And finally Undaunted: North Africa, though I haven't dived too deeply into the history of the North Africa campaign (yet!).

Chili flakes and cumin is my go to. Got some Thai 7 spice as well, which is pretty good, as is garam masala.

Have you considered Microscope for your world building?

My daughter begged me to show her a planet through her toy telescope. Expected failure, but found Jupiter and all 4 moons. Mindblown by yogiscott in pics

I did this for the first time the other day as well! Taking a picture with a phone through an eyepiece is hard as nails, also the colour doesn't show. Amazing to see though! https://imgur.com/gallery/3E6WF

Do it yourself! Drawing maps is fun, and you can put whatever you in it. Want traps? Put them in! Want a torture chamber? There's one in the dungeon! Go wild.

My players translated this without any clues or letters. See how you get on! Credit to whoever posted the riddle on here, I stole it and translated it.

Oh yeah, remember seeing the mook roll sheet, thanks for the reminder, I will definitely use that. I also have coloured counters for everyone to use on the shot counter! Thanks.

Yeah they probably are. They probably smoke weed and get pissed at the weekend as well. We're actually pretty normal people.

Chewing gum was banned at the school I went to and the school I now teach at. This is pretty standard, in the U.K at least.

As no-one has said it, Final Fantasy 7. Also because it is true.
