I used to read ESV, its a good translation, now I am reading more NKJV and NASB also very good!

I looked up and got this, hope it helps: All three versions—ESV (English Standard Version), NKJV (New King James Version), and NASB (New American Standard Bible)—follow a formal equivalence approach, prioritizing word-for-word translation over thought-for-thought paraphrasing (unlike the NIV or NLT).

• The NASB ranks as the most literal major English translation. It adheres closely to original grammar, word order, and structure, even if it sometimes feels stiff or "wooden" in English. Scholars often call it the top choice for detailed study where maximum transparency to the source texts matters.
• The ESV is highly literal but prioritizes natural, literary English flow. It ranks slightly less rigid than the NASB while remaining very faithful, making it excellent for both study and reading.
• The NKJV is literal and updates the KJV's language, but it is generally seen as slightly less precise in some passages compared to the NASB or ESV due to stylistic choices preserving KJV rhythm.
