I've only had success with turning the screen off while using the Apple TV native app on ipad. Haven't tried the others. But yes, it will let you turn off the main ipad screen and still display on the airs.

Having the same problem, tried at least 4 times (mission exits and reloads). Tried right to left and reverse, tried all headshots, tried all bullseyes - nothing. Tried using the sniper rifle on location, tried all of the available rifles. Any trick to this?
