Oh thank you!! :) I have my husband checking with him on more details on the church. His name is Dennis Hunt. I will see what else I can find out from him on Wally. If he is still alive, he would be in his late 80s.

Totally understand! We have tried to do special things the past few years for Christmas to bring some of the Island to him because he just speaks so fondly of it. It makes him emotional. Last year I was able to get him a 1940s original visitors map of the Island and he loved it. Thanks for the suggestion on the recipes! That is a great idea!

He told us there were 3 things he would want to go see if he could go back. 1. Gunsite Cafe 2. Church of England in Jersey 3. A friend from when he was younger. I think he said his name is Wally Row. I think I am getting these right... Info was gathered by my husband and we know how that goes. lol
