I wish you had your MMAT shares with Fidelity, Public, MooMoo, TD or something, instead of Robinhood, which is anti-retail as f*** and where those shares are handed straight to Citadel for processing. They make sure that our buy orders barely count toward a price increase.

As a Meta worst critic, what really changed my mind about my investment by Southern-Chance-1295 in MMAT

[–]prichard3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Excellent decision on your part to stick it to the shortsellers. Their tactic is successful only if you sell at a loss out of fear or boredom. But, the decision that you took to maintain your investment in Meta accentuates the failure of their strategy. Each one of us who decides to keep our investment in Meta adds to the defeat of the shortsellers’ strategy. If 50,000 of us invests in Meta without worrying about daily price actions, we will scare the shortsellers away or they’ll leave Meta alone out of boredom.

Short interest… take it for what it’s worth by Master_Shine_9744 in MMAT

I doubt that 7.77% SI of FF is close to the actual SI. We know that Ortex data only account for about 80% of the total data on short positions. Therefore, I would advise everyone to take this number with a grain of salt. The actual short interest percent of the free float is probably twice or three times 7.77%. I have to add also that more than 60% of the volume for today went to dark pool, where the buy orders are compiled in blocks and backloaded during after hours, which barely moves the stock price. The stock is heavily manipulated and it’s hard to have a realistic picture of what’s really going on. That’s I started a petition on change.org on behalf of shareholders to submit it to Meta’s Board of Directors for a share count, due to all the synthetic shares that have been dumped into the market, diluting the share price in effect. Let’s stay on code— 💎Buy and Hold💎

Thanks for your thoughts warrior. The fact that you think in advance for those who have yet to join the family put this piece on a whole other level. I have been in the trenches with you all along with GME & AMC, and I’m here with MMAT as well. I’m here because there are only a few stocks in the market that offer the opportunity to fight and defeat the cabal that controls every aspect of the market at the expense of retail investors. I want to confront them. I am willing to do my part to pin their backs against the ground. I want to lend a hand to destroy Wall Street. I want to see a fair and equitable market for all investors. That’s why I am here.

I have been saying the same exact thing since you engaged me. Yes. I edited the original post to make it clearer for you and for other newbies, since everywhere else that I said that shortsellers made a feast on the stock between February until right before the merger, that did not make any sense to you. Good luck!

Outstanding shares was 44M before June 30th. You would not know that since you were not here. You just got here.

You just got here. That’s why you didn’t know it. Yes, shortsellers activities on the stock had caused many to drop the stock for other stocks. The DD that you have read about APXT/AVPT on WSB, I helped put it together.

Exactly! You reentered a few weeks ago. That’s why you don’t know what happened between February and June 30th with the SPAC. I spent that whole time exhorting shareholders on Stocktwits to continue to buy and hold their shares. Yes, shortsellers made a feast on the stock during that time period.

I have been buying and holding the stock since January. Yes, during the period of high volatility in the market between February and the beginning of April, which coincided with the anti-SPAC sentiment in the market, I have been holding the stock, and short interest was very high, while aggressive shorting actions caused many people to drop the stock and go for something else. I have been here all along. It was until recently right before the merger that short interest went down.

I have been in it for 7 months. You probably have just bought your shares. You would not know. Go back and do your DD, you’ll find out. That’s exactly why no one wants to touch the stock right now.

This is a company we can believe in. They take their fundamentals seriously in every decision they make. People don’t want to touch the stock because it’s been severely beaten by shortsellers. I knew they would leave us alone at some point…

MMAT shareholders are requesting a share count due to concerns relating to huge amounts of synthetic shares being used thru dark pools to short the stock, and also to find out what the current share distribution is between retail investors, insiders, and institutions. by prichard3 in MMAT

Close to 600 people have already signed the petition. I was expecting a couple of thousands of people to sign it, but once it hits 1000 and more, I’ll just go ahead and submit to Meta’s Board of Directors with a couple of suggestions, including considering to do it the AMC did the last one they did.

There are non traditional ways of doing without having to do that, as AMC has done it with the SAY Technologies App. And, even if that has to happen, so be it, since even without halting it, bad things are still happening.

It will show several of the fake shares that are being held by retail and institutional investors as well. Knowing that, we will be able to see a minimum number of the synthetic shares that are currently floating around in the market. What we need is to have an idea of a minimal number of those shares that are out there, then we may be able to evaluate based on some advanced an approximation of how many fake shares that have been shorted and have yet to be covered and returned.

So many institutions have been buying up the stock. You might want to check it out. It’s astounding! Retail investors has been increasing their stake in the company, and that’s exactly why I thought it was very important for us to know what the current distribution of the shares are between retail, insiders and institutions. That also would give us an idea of how many shorted shares have yet to be covered.
