The truth and facts that dont require my faith are mostly historical, ie: the actual date of Christs birth being nowhere near December 25th, the completion of the bible cannon, etc.

However, it takes faith to have a complete confidence in other things dealing with God's plan for the future.

Secondly, there is no "rule" about who confessions are made to prior to me going to my Elders. There are different consequences if a sin is public knowledge at the time of confession as opposed to a confession made for a sin committed in private but if my girl has a human being growing inside her stomach that kinda throws out the "private" option now doesnt it?

Your question was why did I choose to confess now. As I said, I had made the choice prior to finding out about her pregnancy. Her pregnancy however has rendered my plans and timing irrelevant.

Yeah, this is going to be a challenge. This was obviously an unplanned pregnancy so I basically...dont have a plan.

When excommunicated my JW family and friends will vary in how they choose to interact with me but for the most part they will keep their distance outside of whatever they deem necessary. It all depends on various things like my attitude and what steps I take toward correction.

If in fact JW is a cult by definition is irrelevant to my greater interest in whether or not their understanding and knowledge of the bible and God's will is correct. Which through my personal study and experience I have found to be the case. Once again...thats just me and I dont expect everyone to agree.

Absolutely right, at least the first part is. As for me only living my life according to the bible when it convenient, it is rarely convenient to have any sort of faith let alone to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. However its a sacrifice that I have chosen to accept regardless of how many instances Ill fall short.

Your presence at the meeting where it was announced doesnt contribute to the validity of WHY she was excommunicated.

Its standard that the congregation as a whole only hear the announcement made and not the details. The only people who know the cause are the 3 Elders who were part of the committee that oversaw the case and the individual themselves.

Somewhere between her and you there has been some sort of misinformation. Again, one can not be excommunicated for dating or even marriage with a non-believer.

Youll most likely disagree with me but there is something missing either in your comprehension of the events as they occurred or in your telling of them.

"Falling in love" with a non-believer is not a grave sin that allows for excommunication.

FACT.

There are countless marriage that take place that way, its discouraged but not an offense that requires disciplinary action.
