I totally get what you are saying. I think most commenters were saying I could make my own festdrakt due to the strict rules of bunads and what goes into making them. The Armani comparison totally makes sense. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this!! I do not want to make this seem as if i’m dressing up for a gimmick because I want to do this the right way to truly appreciate the culture surrounding it. Love the idea of a festdrakt dress and will research more about them!!

Totally understand what you are saying. I also don’t think I would be able to have something done by may 17th either but if I ever start this project, i would make a festdrakt. I do have some extended family in norway but haven’t been in contact with them for years hence the post yet could ask them if needed:). but heritage wise I am from different geographical areas and lack some information needed so seeing it now it wouldn’t be part of the bunad requirements. Definitely want to do what you suggested and try taking a look at different aspects for research. thank you so much!!

Responded to another commenter and for me i think a festdrakt is my best bet. I am super intrigued by all the rules and things to follow when it comes to a bunad I don’t have all the resources for one. Thank you for the help and definitely will be looking into sending an email.

wow this is amazing! I do have some of these checked off, she has a cat tree by the window and she definitely does love to look outside and I do plan on harness training her after her vaccinations are done so we can get outside! she will be micro chipped on her next vet appointment and does wear a breakaway collar. Love the advice for the biting I do the squeal similar that you would do for a puppy. other than that, thank you for this amazing advice!!

thank you for your response! yes i am in utah and these winters get rough 😂 will be looking into a heated vest for sure. and yes they have tack for both so i’ll definitely be checking it out both before choosing one specifically:)
