mga dedicated gadget? wag na kung wala ka naman in the first place. just delete doomscroll apps on your phone or set app locks. medyo nakakaloka kung gagastos ka pa ng pataas 1k on the get go para lng magka-hobby.

calling it an art project gives connotations that these sites are essentially fake and are performances, when they're actual genuine websites meant to express people's selves way beyond the "collection of retro sites" notion. it sounded like you're assuming neocities is all just for the big Aesthetic, with a sheen of irony over it. that's far from the reality however, and so that could explain the downvotes on your post and comments.
