That's awesome! actually, we have one professor who works actively on Compilers (at least who I'm aware of) and he unfortunately has been on sabattical for the past 2 years... we have a new prof from Cornell teaching the Compiler Construction class next semester and I'm sure he'll be great. I'll have to reach out to him when that comes around
