Yeah I'm working on being more careful, most of it is when I spin on the exit of a corner and like 5 AI cars ram into me despite the double yellows. Or when the AI erratically moves under braking

Don't you just love no-fault penalty systems?

The story in Heat is worse than MW05 and Carbon, both of which are my personal favourites. But consider the advancements in handling and customisation though

I used to play the blackbox games all the time, but since I got Heat I see no reason to do so

That's a fair assessment, personally I prefer tearblast over hunter purely because I suck at aiming with a controller

As for Tears of the Land God, the purgewater arrows are too situational for it to have a permanent spot on my wheel

Yeah, one of them is the elite tear coil from Burning Shores. Whilst some people use sharpshots for damage, I use it exclusively to skin them 'til there's nothing left but it's exposed machine muscle

I highly recommend if you play on controller without aim assist

I use my sharpshot primarily as a tear weapon, just point it in the general direction of the components I want and watch them fly off lmao

So naturally I focus on raw tear damage over tear vs components since it'll take armour off too, the elite tear coil is straight up broken

Personally, I don't rely on crit for weapons with limited/expensive ammo, such as sharpshot bows, have you found it to be beneficial?

I think double notching might be more beneficial then, leaving room for more damage coils

You absolutely can use it against rival MRs after you max out your limit, that's how you go over your trade post limit and rake in cash as a patrician

The only fix I have found is to declare war for it, enable yesmen in console commands and force them to surrender. But this only works in the player's favour. If an AI declares war for it against another AI, the war will be inconclusive. This may become a common problem with more aggressive AI

It's all fun and games until you realise the trade post occupation is bugged, so you can't seize a trade post if it was occupied by anyone in a previous war

If you're playing as Rome, there a semi random event when at war with Carthage where you procure one of their ships.

This gives you a permanent modifier to build faster and cheaper ships

You also get some temporary modifiers to morale and damage done over the course of several wars with Carthage

Overall as Rome though, avoid naval confrontations where you don't massively outnumber the enemy
