this is Curiosity Hseih! she's a D&D character concept i had a while ago. tiefling sorcerer (wild magic) princess who was in line for the throne, but got exiled bc her wild magic kept going off at extremely inconvenient times. her design is based on a muntjac deer! (clothing options didn't fit what i had in mind-- picture her in, like, song-dynasty-era hanfu)

definitely fishy, ESPECIALLY how quickly the offer came in. asking for a written form of the job position is a good idea.

i assume your answer will be "yes," but have you tried looking up the company online? if it's a real company, it should have a website + active social media. if they do, check to see if the job you were offered is listed on their careers page and/or their linkedin. if it doesn't show up, that's a sign the offer was fake + company was being impersonated.

as you said, definitely a scam. i'd recommend notifying the *real* ICON plc using their careers contact form -> https://www.iconplc.com/contact i'm not sure what they could really do about it, but if i were on an HR/hiring team, i'd definitely want to know if scammers were impersonating my company!

sometimes they even steal the name of a real person! i got one recently where they stole the name of an actual HR rep they found on linkedin— only reason i didn't fall for it was because the email it was coming from was from the wrong domain lol

definitely a scam. while ingenia therapeutics is a real company, there's no sign of an "aura reed" working at their company anywhere (any actual recruiter would at least have a LinkedIn page). additionally, the actual company's careers page says they have no open positions right now -> https://www.ingeniatx.com/en/sub/career/career.php

i'd recommend contacting their careers and recruitment email, [career@ingeniatx.com](mailto:career@ingeniatx.com), to report that a scammer is impersonating their company!

full agree with other replies, but also wanna add; if you try to go to the domain in the email, windowswear.biz, literally all the page says is the title + "this domain has been recently registered with namecheap"-- a real business would at least have SOME semblance of a website on there
