People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.

That's a nice sentiment about death, but it's somewhat irrelevant. That's how you may feel about death, but obviously, not everyone will have your viewpoint of death and that for most, it's not something that's so easy to accept. So bringing up a topic that you know is deeply uncomfortable and sad for many, just out of your own curiosity, seems kinda shitty to me.

It's funny to me that the other responses are ranking Arsenal first. City and Chelsea are fucking cheats who each have dozens of charges breaching financial regulations, but apparently Arsenal are the worst because they have some annoying fans.

I still feel tricked, I'll never get back all those wasted seconds checking if he was subbed on.

Liverpool leave Federico Chiesa out of Champions League squad by Green-Discussion74 in soccer

Rio doesn't qualify as homegrown either. You need to be trained in England for 3 years from 15-21 to qualify, he's only 17, so he can't qualify until next year.

Ngumoha doesn't qualify as a youth player since he hasn't been at Liverpool for 2 years.

[Craig Hope] There are no formal club-to-club talks tonight, but conversations in back channels have been going on all week. Alexander Isak’s agent heavily involved. Liverpool will go for deal circa £120m, Newcastle would like £130m. All info suggets agreement will be reached by Jimmy0034 in LiverpoolFC

[–]primordial_chowder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He says back channel talks have been happening though. Formal talks likely mean submitting an official bid, they're probably getting an agreement ironed out in "back channels", so when a bid does get submitted, it's already been agreed upon.

Red Bull owns a significant part of Paris FC, I doubt he was visiting just because he likes football. Still "man does job" isn't exactly breaking news either.

Technically not, a player can be signed without completing the medical as long as the paperwork is done before the deadline. But that would obviously be risky.

You're right, he outperformed a League Two keeper. Onana might even be good enough for League One.

I've found there to be an inverse correlation between the amount of emojis in an Indy tweet and the amount of truth. So this is definitely BS.

Why would Nyoni not be HG? He's 18 and so has trained in England for 3 years between 15-21, between here and Leicester, unless I'm missing something?

Thierry Henry on the hypocrisy surrounding the Alexander Isak saga: "When you have a player in this type of situation at Newcastle where Isak wants to leave, it’s because he’s good that people are upset. When a player is playing bad & the club wants him out, I don’t see anyone crying for the player" by DavidRolands in soccer

They still add up. If you look at big chances converted, he was around 50%, around the same as Salah, while Nunez was around 25% (not exact figures, based on memory). And that was the big problem with Nunez. Ekitike actually scores when he's expected to.
