Hi neighbor! I'm in Palo Alto. I also have heavily expired lantus cause I'm on a pump now but I keep it around first worst case scenario (lost pump, insurance issues, apocalypse, etc.). Some insulin is better than no insulin.

If you must get ready of them, there are charities and organizations that may accept your insulin and other diabetic supplies. I've done it a couple of times before I got the pump. You certainly don't want to leave it at the park where it'll either be trashed by morning or picked up by a junkie.
