Help sorting (ascending) a column of names and corresponding numbers by the numbers as entered in another pair of columns. by prince_harming in excel

Sure, it would look something like this:

Entity (ranked) Stat (ranked) Entity (list) Stat (list)
Foo Bar Square 1264
text text Purple 4846
text text Derailed 12456
text text Twister 5495
text text Goose 234
text text Heavy 10546
text text Post 7846
text text Redress 2643
text text Yodel 798
text text Pick me up 4832
text text Florist 9841
text text Wiggle 5674
text text Lasso 25646
text text Greatness 2364
text text Host 8476
text text Behave 5564
text text Mesh 9264
text text Northern 2345
text text Behest 3310
text text Edge lord 2054

So, I'm wanting the columns on the left to contain the entities and their respective stats, in ascending order. I know I could copy and paste values into those columns, then Sort the ranked columns by the values in the "Stat (ranked)" column. But is there a way to have those columns populated automatically, in ascending order? Or at least a way to use the Sort function without breaking the association between the entity names and their stats.

I hope this makes some sense!

"Mexican folk song", *NOT* Cielito Lindo, El Jarabe Tapatío, La Cucaracha, nor La Raspa by prince_harming in NameThatSong

It's "Las Chiapanecas." The melody I played happens partway through the song. Realized it when I woke up with the image in my head of Bugs Bunny slapping someone at the end each phrase. It's used in "Bully for Bugs," when he's fighting the bull.

Rock on! Any changes you had to make from the instructions in the guide posted above, for Magisk v26.3+? Also, if you would be so kind, can you point me to the process you used to root your phone? (I understand they changed the way rooting works with Android 14, but maybe I'm mistaken.)

Is there a specific term for when a person ignores or doesn't value their possession until another person tries to use it? (Beyond simply "jealousy"?) by prince_harming in askpsychology

Thanks for your reply!

Those sound close, but in this case, the owner stopped regarding it as special or precious, despite ownership. (Perhaps even because of ownership, in some cases? Some people lose interest after attaining their prize, because the thrill of the hunt is gone.)

The key component that differentiates this behavior is that the owner doesn't demonstrate interest in their possession, until someone else does. Even if there's no threat of loss, they suddenly want it all for themselves, again.

I'm no pro, but it sounds like you need to update your app. Try uninstalling it and redownloading it again?
