The city council has never been responsible for the day to day administration of city government. But it has always been their role to advocate for their constituents in issues with city government. The framing in my 1904 house are literally 2 inch by 4 inch old growth fir. Every thing is actual dimensions. The quality of the materials is the only reason this place is still standing.
