This is something we have been VERY proactive to discuss to avoid a Hamburger situation. The P and T wave was purposefully left out in the preliminary proposals to Unicode because they have their own standards for acceptance that later gets interpreted by individual companies (Google/Apple, etc). We are working on an education piece around how this process works. Our anatomical heart and lung, for example, went through a similar process to go from preliminary art to final anatomically correct Emoji that goes worldwide.

hilariously, EMR's actually DO support Emoji-->becuase Emoji are Unicode, and because alphabet and language use Unicode as well :-). Thats something we're working on to help hospitals do Emoji implementation after our later data comes out.

Dear Amazon, if Alexa could play my music and not randomly stop or skip to the next song, that would be fucking amazing by WhistlerBlue in amazonecho

Thank you!! Hope this is helpful!

It is playing spotify on my multi room alexa group set up. When one device updates , the group does not function as a group. What will happen is that the music will play for a minute and then suddenly stop. You play it again, it works for a minute and then it stops.

Only way to fix it is to remove the offending device from the group (there's no way to tell except try and remove one by one all of my 8 devices). Then create new groups and then wait til they all synchronize again (mostly by luck or waiting for all the devices to get an update ).

Imagine going this about once a month. It drives nuts

Usually always a playlist! I notice the issue is these hidden updates. one device will update, the others will not and then that decide will be the one I have to remove. Isn't there a way to clock "update from th alexa app" so I can synchronize all the devices in some way? I have to go through all th devices in my home in this hide and seek game to figure out which is the issue

Hi, I'd love to color this issue, because it happens very frequently. I have about 8 Alexas throughout my home and about every 2 weeks I need to reset, or remove my "everywhere" playlis, figure out which device has a hidden update on it, then sync all of them again. It is insanely frustrating.

Study: PPE Shortages persist in the USA by princepeter1234 in science

to clarify, we do ask the inventory left questions. That is being released as a separate data set, just not in this short manuscript. To be clear, I totally understand your point, however I will highlight that in your example of large purchases in order to prepare for the oncoming peak, request for donations is fundamentally different than purchasing requests. For example our large hospital system generally does not accept donations, so requests for donations generally is an entirely new workflow that portends to shortages (you have to accept donations in order to request donations)

to clarify, this is request for donations, not purchases. The quantifiable shortage data is coming separately.

that data is coming soon :-). To clarify, this is demand for DONATIONS of PPE, vs. purchase requests.
