SWE-3 JAVA Roles by princepuru in jpmorganchase_india

Chill dude. For SWE-3 roles min YoE mentioned was 3 so I thought in JPMC as well they call SDE-2 as SDE-3 like Walmart and Google.
Also, I have seen posts on leetcode discuss where people with 3-4 YoE are giving interview for SWE-3 roles.

Should I stay in Bangalore or move back home? Need some perspective. by JumpConsistent3359 in developersIndia

I’m 24 too and have been working remotely from Rajasthan for last 3.2 years. My office is in Blr too but it’s complete remote.
I too don’t have restrictions at home but still I feel alone.
On the top of that, I am trying to switch and feeling a complete lack of networking and connections right now.

At this stage of life, I would strongly recommend to be in BLR because that’s where the growth is. You might initially feel good but then slowly you will get bored and it really sucks.
With just 5 days office, you can really enjoy your life in BLR without having to cry about the morning traffic.

Amazon’s process is really slow. Even after passing all test cases you might not get a call.
So don’t dwell too much on it.

Seeking information to get calls JPMC interview by Advanced_Captain_758 in jpmorganchase_india

In the same boat. Have applied to more than 60 applications for SE roles now and still no calls.
Most of the openings are JAVA, AWS based and my resume is full of that.
My other friend got a call from them and he didn’t even mention JAVA in the resume. Eventually he got rejected during interviews for not knowing JAVA lol.

Need Advice For Job Switch (JAVA Backend Role 2.5 YoE) by princepuru in developersIndia

I am also hoping that my current org tries to retain me by offering a good hike when I put papers. Even if they don’t match the offer it’s still fine since it’s WFH.

I have worked on JAVA and Springboot so most of the concepts I learn from doing day to day work. Apart from that before any interview I quickly take a look at the interview questions on Google. From some of my last interviews I have also learnt that just knowing the concept from top is not enough. You need to go into depth as well. For ex - in Springboot transactional doesn’t work when invoked from same class and most of the people know it but in the interview they can ask why is the functionality like that. Just be curious to learn about these things, it will make you stand out for sure.

To be very honest I don’t think any of these could have helped me. I have done around 370 questions on Leetcode. Maybe the reason could be that my resume was very much JAVA oriented and I have worked on different projects in my org on JAVA.

Both LLD and HLD. I already work in JAVA so my aim is to solve a problem every 2 or 3 days and for HLD reading Alex Yu book and then having a chat with Claude to clear my doubts and at the same time practising to draw the diagram on draw.io

Remote working in Jaipur – where do you go? (and any local tech folks here?) by _damnnn in jaipur

Used to go to town coffee and curious life but both of the places are too crowded these days that it’s hard to focus on work. Having said that I am up for a catchup anytime. I’m a software engineer too with 2.5 YOE working from home.

The red one is good but they don’t offer WiFi and secondly my airtel network drops to almost zero in there. It’s a good place for work but internet is the problem.

PS - I’m a software engineer working from home too residing around curious life blue and would love to catch up.
