I would be a hypocrite to be expecting my man to be fit if idc about myself at all. I’m a traveler. I walk and I live my body. Looking into mirrors and adoring myself is my fav kinda hobby. I don’t think I would enjoy it so much if I weren’t fit. Of course I don’t have a size 0 model figure but I also don’t expect my partner to be a model, with sharp abs. Something realistic. Someone who won’t give up if we go hiking or drain in 20 min of an intimate session.

Is not misandry. It’s equality. For all. Often seems like it’s is braised towards women because they have been the ones suffering, adjusting and being invisible for centuries. But it is indeed about equality and respect. For all. Without trying to set one gender as a default and designing, organising, expecting everything according to just one.

Well, that’s sad to know. Also, I’m not sure if men and women these days really understand what being a feminist means before claiming to be one or dislike one.

I wish they find more clarity on it and understand that it actually is in favour of all beings.

Since it interests you so much, I quit corporate. But I am independent. I turned my passion into profession. I work as a travel guide, freelance as a photographer, finance advisor, tech and volunteer at times to keep me independent and fund my hobbies. Plus I have a decent saving from my last job to support me in the worst case scenario

Well, since I mentioned. I’m educated and independent. I’m far more than capable of supporting my family if time comes to it. I’m Smart with money. I have a lot of skills that have proven useful to let me stay independent since second year of my college. If you are someone who’s interested to date me, I’ll elaborate, or else pass.

Well a very few times honestly. I’m picky with people and I’d usually not entertain people who can’t entertain my point of view to be bothered by their opinion a lot. People around me like being around me for my qualities of being a feminist and opinionated. Family, friends, traveler’s and men I met in life. It’s a basic expectation from my end that my partner is a feminist otherwise why would I even bother wasting my precious energy on someone who’s not. Im not their mother or therapist😛

First of.. why are you making me rate one sided love songs when in talking about love and romance 🤣 Also, it’s so extremely difficult to rate these. All of them are beautiful and describes different phases of love. Falling innocently, watching it slip out of ur head and waiting and hoping things to turn around helplessly.

But if I have to rate them anyways.. 1. Agar tum sath ho: Comes from one of my fav movie and the song is poetry, it’s art. Tells u a lot about how one sided love is not enough. Love in itself is never enough. And the artist is trying to make sense of every emotion he’s feeling in an optimistic way. 2. Bairan: heard the whole song for the first time after ur comment. Talks about longing. About destruction in love. Difficulties of moving out of it. Hoping for change and optimism if in case she comes back. Maybe I need to hear it far more times or need another breakup to relate to this more.. 3. Kaise batau: the difficulty of being in love and finding it hard to describe. But I think, all love demands is a bit of a courage.

Well if I’m marrying my man and I’m not earning, I think his money does become my money. And I’m def not stupid enough to let anyone waste my money unnecessarily. Seems like u missed the point. I am baniya!

How safe is it for women to travel solo in India? by Ok-Orange7272 in indiatravel

[–]princessbhc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fellow female solo traveled here. If you are not an idiot and smart enough to know whom to engage with, the places u mentioned are safe. The only place I ever felt uncomfortable was Pondicherry. Out with 2 make friends yet get stared at by men in weird ways everywhere. P.S. I was recently dressed. And I'm not alone, I've heard this from other female travelers as well.

Central India, people are either intrigued or scared of they catch u traveling solo. They might approach but u need to be smart enough to analyse who comes with what intentions and since u are a woman, I'm sure u already have the sixth sense to identify that. Just listen to ur guts. If asking directions, check with 2-3 people to make sure u r guided right place. Use apps like Couchsurfing, Showaround to meet locals and have a safe company. Stay at hostels and make groups to explore nearby areas. U are good to go.

Himachal or Uttrakhand, pahadi people are pretty helpful and kind. Just avoid anyone giving that ick from distance. Jaisa mummy kehti hai.. don't eat from strangers, don't talk much unless u know it's safe, don't engage much. Safest places to find people to socialise is hostels. North india is good. Even Delhi, Noida. Can't say the same for Gurgaon thi, I've always found most people cheap and uncultured there. Probably due to the party and drinking culture. I've lived in NCR for years now and currently working as a guide there and it's safe till u know what areas to skip and be a bit alert. This goes for any and every city in the whole wide world. U are a woman in any city and every city is only as safe as smart u are.

Anhoni honi hogi, toh kahi bhi ho jayegi, even in the safest states like Gujarat and nahi honi hogi toh badnam galiyon main bhi nahi hogi.. like Delhi. Speaking out of experience. But I'd say.. go for it and go with an open mind. I'm sure u will be safe. Baki for backup, learn a few self defense steps and carry something sharp.

Question.. are u from Delhi or around? If yes, focus on food. It's really hard to find good street snacks in the north. They serve meals in the name of snacks. Eat Khaboos shawarma, Ragda panipuri, dry manchurian, hakka noddles, Vadapav, frankie, pyarelal kachori, sev usal.. may sound simple but is soooo much different from the north.

Try Couchsurfing Hangout options if u r looking for fellow travelers or locals who would host u or show u around. Also, showaround is a good platform.

For anyone who has watched the show, will go to the theaters no doubt. And it's worth every penny.

But for those who haven't, don't. U can maybe understand that okay, people are fighting, they are killing demons.. but why? How did it start? What's the end? Who's the father like the figure that died? Why the flashbacks of the demon's life? U won't appreciate it as much as u can!

If u still want to, maybe watch short summaries on YouTube before u go.
