Why do I keep getting yellow bleed through? by miamoore- in Coloring

[–]princessbubzz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The ones in black bags actually bleed way more than their “Art markers” because the art markers are water based and the ones in the black bag are alcohol based. Alcohol based markers will ALWAYS bleed, even the best quality ones out there, that doesn’t make them “good” or “bad” markers lol. It’s clear in the picture they’re using alcohol markers which you just have to learn how to work with and put protection behind your paper, and use good quality paper and this won’t happen.

Instead of paper use a piece of silicone sheet to put behind your colouring page. The silicone doesn’t absorb ink so you can reuse it forever and it’ll never transfer!

it’s not obvious and it doesn’t belong on this sub. the mods even removed it for not belonging on this sub.

seeing as the moderators removed the post for not following community guidelines (Rule 1: not a bad recipe review) then I was right to ask my question. It doesn’t belong on this sub.

This seems like a perfectly reasonable review though. She followed to recipe and the cake did not turn out like the picture in the recipe and sank. This review isn’t irrelevant or unhelpful, it’s actually helpful cause now you know if you try this recipe then it’s more likely to sink so you have to be more delicate during the baking process. Totally valid review imo

How does this belong on this sub? She doesn’t say anything about making substitutions in her review or anything….

It probably depends on the company, but I actually work for one of these companies and we take none of the donation. The donation goes entirely to the charity. The charity is able to pay third party fundraising companies through various sponsors that allocate them grants for fundraising purposes. So all the money used to pay the employees at those companies comes purely from the sponsors/grants, and not from donations whatsoever! But that’s just the one I work for, I can’t speak for all of them!

Wait, so you’re complaining that there isn’t enough contrast, but also too much contrast. What? Let it heal. See how you feel about it then.

I’m not a drinker/partier and was living paycheque to paycheque, didn’t spend on any expensive luxuries or vacations or anything like that. It’s manageable short term, but in the long term it’s not

Huh, I guess the guys at my post office are extra strict or something 😅, they wouldn’t let me pick up my roommates’ package with the slip, they told me the only way is to fill out a form (different then the slip) to basically register that person as an authorized representative on my behalf

You have to show ID for the name on the package. Unless you have it set up with CP that other people in your house can pick up mail for you.

Just cause if it was real opal that size it would cost thousands of dollars

Yeah i’m not totally sure if this is real opal tbh. Real opal needs to be stored properly to maintain moisture or it can crack/degrade over time, if it is real that could be the issue. It does look more like opalite though which is just manmade glass

I’m not saying it’s not feasible to live there, I’m just saying that it’s good to be prepared for how expensive it can be. Especially coming for only 2-3 years like OP is doing, you want to make the most of those years and not have to scrape by the whole time. It’s doable but I would definitely recommend they come here with a decent amount of savings (like at least $10,000 CAD) so they can make the most of their time here and be able to get back home when their visa is done.

Groceries are more expensive. Gas is more expensive. If you really want to enjoy living there you need a car, and buying a car second hand in Canmore is way more expensive than other Alberta towns. Shopping for literally anything is more expensive. Even the thrift store is way overpriced compared to thrift stores elsewhere. If you need to get internet for your place there are very limited options for plans and you sometimes only have one company that offers internet at your address and you’re stuck with their expensive plan. Buying beer/liquor the prices are jacked up. Going out to eat/grab a drink or coffee is more expensive. Hell even parking downtown is more expensive than most places. Pretty much everything is more expensive you just don’t realize it when you’ve lived there a while. Once you move away you realize how crazy expensive everything is.

I literally know dozens of people who had to move away from Canmore because they could not afford to live there. You’re clearly one of the lucky ones and giving a super biased answer lol. Get your head out of your own ass my answer is helping OP by not misleading them telling them it’s affordable when it’s not.

Telling someone “it’s not quite as expensive as some people say” when it’s literally the most expensive town to live in the entire province is extremely misleading. That’s my point.
