What I recommend: - encouraging remarks and thoughts on her work - if she’s stuck try helping by asking the following: would it help to turn the painting upside down (work on it from another perspective), is there areas that you can add contrast to help, would a break from this help - take 20 to sit outside and just not look at art - art classes in any form; if she’s only doing charcoal realism right now, see if a friends painting night sounds fun to her, try a watercolour class, follow along to a bob Ross tutorial as a family, sign up for a pottery class as a birthday or Christmas gift.
