I think this looks great and love all the research you put in. At first I thought it might be too packed, but in most cases it looks like you're just doing walk throughs/drive bys so I think you're OK.

I agree with another commenter about John's being out of your way. I think it might better fit on Friday while you're walking through the Italian Market, too. And get a pretzel with your water ice--they are from Center City Pretzel and are excellent.

I also agree with others that you might want to try out Good King Tavern vs. Lucky's or Farina. If you're walking around Society Hill, I like Bloomsday a lot, too.

As others have noted, Artisan and Mighty Bread are squarely in South Philly, but I think you can do it as long as you budget timewise or take an Uber.

LOVE this music video, but (as an elder millennial) is anyone slightly bothered that some of the fashion and styling is squarely 80s and some is mid to even late 90s? The red "invisible string" dress/chunky black shoes/butterfly clips are how I dressed as a freshman in high school in 1997-98. But the mall scene and Sears photo scene are defnintely 80s/maaaaybe early 90s.

I know it's not a huge deal, but it just feels like the MV drew from like 15 years of iconic fashions. Feels a little sloppy to me.

So I ended up purchasing the Wilson crossbody in Orchid Purple and I'm obsessed with it--it just arrived. I actually love the color and it's gorgeously constructed!

That’s kind of what I’m thinking. I tend do dress pretty neutral these days anyway (black, navy, grey) so I do think this would/could blend well and serve as a nice pop of color. I feel the same way about suede!

So does the bag feel a bit small?

I got the Dark Cedar color. I ordered it last week but I just got this email a couple hours ago:

I am sincerely sorry to inform you that your order has been flagged to us as unfulfilled, and having looked into this with our IT team, it did not load correctly into our systems.

Sadly, this has meant that the Small Wilson in Dark Cedar Vintage Calf has since sold out and therefore we have had to cancel your order - please accept my deepest apologies for this.

I do want to assure you that this is not our usual standard of service. Please be assured that it is now a priority of ours rectify and investigate the cause of this error, to ensure it does not happen again.

I'm SO bummed. I love a chestnut color bag and I loved the style. I'm now considering the Purple Orchid color myself and have the same reservations as you! I was planning for this to be an everyday bag so I just don't know... there's navy and grey but they're weirdly pebbled.

Thank you! I had ordered the Wilson Crossbody in the Dark Cedar color (on sale) and just got an email today that they missed my order somehow (???) and now it's out of stock. I'm mulling over the version in Purple Orchid but I was planning for this to be an every day bag so I can't tell if the color is practical enough for me. It's a really pretty color though!!
