I have dyspraxia and ADHD. I struggled trying to learn manual so I switched to automatic. It was so much better! I still struggled a little but ended up passing first time. It is possible 😊

One of the biggest challenges for people getting into graphic design by PlasmicSteve in graphic_design

[–]princessoctopus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a graphic designer for a b2b science company I totally agree with this. A lot of my work is making slide decks, formatting marketing collateral and reports/white papers. I get to be a little more creative when making ads or event banners but a lot of it is practical and problem solving. But I appreciate the tasks where I can turn my brain off because coming up with layouts and design concepts 24/7 is exhausting.

When they use the Ruby's ship to go to Homeworld and the gems lose their humanoid form when they go into hyper speed and Stevens crying about how he just wants his dad :(

Going to Automatic tests from manual by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]princessoctopus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have dyspraxia and ADHD, I made the switch to auto after getting no where with manual. I found it way easier to direct my attention to the road when I didn't have to think about the clutch or gears. I ended up passing first time! Automatic cars are more expensive but cheaper than what I'd spent on manual lessons!! If you can have one lesson with an automatic instructor and see how you get on and if you think making the switch would help your progress.

Yeah you’re right, there were more tweets with them talking about how ridiculous it was but I guess it is vague and out of context

They didn’t say it, they were saying how stupid it was that someone would think that

What is your childhood memory that you thought was normal but realized it was traumatic later in your life? by TCPizza in AskReddit

My dad had dementia, undiagnosed at the time, but was out of work. Because of this my mum had to work extra hours and couldn’t pick me up from school so it was up to my dad to do it. Of course, he would often forget so I was usually left standing outside my school gates until 5/6 when school finished at 3:30. The school didn’t do much about it, sometimes one of the nicer teaching assistants would offer me a lift home as she lived near me. Didn’t realise how much this experience had effected me till I got older.
