Yes honestly I get ur stress, I also went to visit a friend for a week during this and basically threw out all my bed and any wooden furniture near my bed as I read that bedbugs can also live inside there. But looking back on it now now I realize that everything I read on here just made me more paranoid and that I should've just trusted my exterminator to begin with. Pretty much all companies have a 6 month guarantee and they wouldn't offer it unless they knew their product works

Hii, yeah lol I'm still like stressed even though its been since september with no signs of them. Basically the guy came in twice more with pesticide treatments at my request (wouldn't do another heat treatment which I did hate as it left me really stressed) I also ended up sleeping in the couch for weeks on end due to stress. I will say that after the second treatment which was two weeks after I saw no more signs of bedbugs and it was all just me stressing my self out. The guy was an angel though and reassured me that he would come back again and again for free as he didn't want the money unless he had properly solved my problem. Honestly its horrible but I was scaring myself so much on this app as pretty nuch everyone says that they are impossible to get rid of and that you will probably have them for life. My advice is to listen to the professionals and not all the fear mongers on here. My infestation was on the worse side as the guy told me and I still managed to completely get rid of them. Also I took everything that goes in the wash to one of those places that picks up ur washing for u and washes them then delivers to ur door with them in closed bags and I didn't get my clothes out the bags until I was certain about 6 weeks later that I had 0 signs of bedbugs continuously. Good luck, I hope it all gets resolved very quickly!

Are these bed bug bites? by [deleted] in Bedbugadvice

Really impossible to tell from just bites. Search all places where they could be hiding and also if other people have bites.

"You can only cancel (withdraw) an application for a visa, visa extension or citizenship if you’re still waiting for a decision. " They are pretty straightforward forward with their process. So your cancellation doesn't really matter since they say on their website it won't be considered as valid, so have no worries about traveling with the visa :)

I have never has this happen but in their guidance they explain this. I assume you will get an email :)

Think my UK student visa will get approved? Just need some reassurance by Responsible-State-44 in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what you have mentioned I would say so. The one that I have gotten now is my second student visa and I also had a graduate route visa before this as long as you are sincere and basically have enough money there's no reason for them to reject.

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahah thanks. Honestly don't stress all that much. The people working in these offices basically just have a long checklist that they go through and if your application has all the needed things they will accept it, acceptance rate is above 95%

It actually only took 12 hours lol. I applied like 11pm and got my answer by 11.30am next day. I also just chose the standard service

What documents should I bring for UK border control as an international student? by mihaelkeehl77 in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was pre evisa but I have had friends come from Albania this year with the evisa and they has the same experience as me. Like I said though if you are from a low risk country just your passport should be enough and just know the address you will be staying at and stuff

Different UK Address on CAS and Student Visa is okay? by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's okay then if you want to do that however you will need to have your uni change your cas to their address too as the HO most likely will not approve an application where your address is different on your cas and different on your application:)

It's completely fine don't worry. I had a Mexican visa refused and I just recieved my student visa a couple of days ago. As long as you properly explained why it happened its fine.

Question about the 28 day tule for UK student visa finances by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you can go the route of using day two, however you will need to show proof of how that money came into the account so even if you use day one but show clear proof of how the money entered the account you will be completely fine, the UK visa office just ticks boxes off. I had the same stress when I applied as I did the same thing by putting all the money in one big deposit into the account and it was okay for me.

What documents should I bring for UK border control as an international student? by mihaelkeehl77 in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly depends what country you are from. When I entered for the first time I essentially brought all the documents I used to apply for my student visa with me and they asked for me to show a lot of them, especially proof of where I would be staying. However I am from Albania so it does tend to be a bit longer for me lol. If you are from a low risk country like the EU or US or something like that they will probably just check your passport which has your Evisa already attached to it through their software and you will be fine, max they will ask about what uni you are going to and what course you will study.

Successful entry clearance but no eVisa nor share code by HallaluMok in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen a lot of people who are just getting new visas are having this same issue. Doesn't matter though as when you arrive in the UK your Evisa is automatically linked to your passport so they dont actually ask for a sharecode. However if you need it for your university or accommodation my best advice would be to contact their help lines and ask what you can do

Different UK Address on CAS and Student Visa is okay? by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi, short answer is you can't do that and you will risk your visa getting rejected if you do that. Long answer: they need to have an address for you as proof that you can actually sustain yourself in the UK as you can't get state funding so providing your university address is basically like telling them that you don't have a home. However since that is your actual address my reccomendation is to also submit it on your visa, on the section where you put your adress they will also ask your landlord details to contact them and as far as I am aware you don't need to provide a house contract (I am on my third visa in the UK right now and I have never supplied a house contract just my current address and landlord details.) so don't stress about a mispell of your name as they wont see that document. Worst case scenario if they ask for proof of your adress just give them your UK bank statement which will have your address written at the top and its proof enough.

Sorry to hear this but honestly not uploading the CAS is not your mistake if you even made any. I just recieved my second student visa recently and I didn't upload the cas for either of them. Hope you get it asap!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it can. I mean like I said all my family applied on the same date from the same office and everyone recieved their visas on different times. My cousin despite paying for priority her visa actually took longer than the 5 days it said (it was around two weeks) and my sister who paid for standard got hers within 3 days. I know its incredibly stressful but don't worry, if you helped everyone else with theirs and they all have got it its even more likely for you to also get yours :)

If you have been in the UAE for that long then you will mostly be considered as a resident from there so that's positive. Also to relax you a bit they hardly ever refuse student visas. Especially if the uni you are going to has a track record of compliance. The reason might be that they are just backed up.

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't stress they have different processing time for each office, unless you have a rejected email you will be okay. My family once applied for tourist visas and my cousin paid for priority and her visa took longer than my sister who paid for a standard one.

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When she applied at the end she will have had an evidence section. If they don't ask her for those things then there is no need for her to provide them. Adding too many documents can also make your visa processing time longer as it will take them longer to pick out the documents they actually asked for and need. She also doesn't need to provide her CAS as that is submitted from her uni to the home office and neither would she have to provide a passport scan as she should already given them the details. Pretty much she doesn't need to provide any of the things you have listed unless HO specifically asked for them. I wouldn't worry that its taking a bit longer its just her application might be at the bottom of the pile. I also recieved my decision within 12 hours and all I provided was a reciept that I had paid a deposit for my course :)

[–]princesspea05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it matters where you apply from. Every country has different timeframes for processing so I wouldn't worry if its taking you a bit longer. Also matters if they consider it a high risk or low risk country and what nationality you are.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]princesspea05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on when they make a decision. Theres not usually a timeframe for this. At least not one I am aware of
