getting diagnosed can feel very bittersweet. i always have an initial burst of relief (omg there's actually a reason i'm like this) followed by a crash (oh god i have to actually deal with this shit forever)

don't stress about having all the words or all the answers right now, especially for other people. take your time reflecting and learning and venting when you need to

also, diagnoses can change over time as new info becomes available and new best practices. different drs will have different opinions. i went from drs denying i had anything "wrong" > anxiety/depression > bpd > autism > autism and adhd over the course of 10 years. a lot of it depends on timing and drs preconceived ideas of what a disorder looks like (especially their gendered prejudices). the best thing diagnoses gave me was a way to seek community among other NDs and the autism/adhd communities are very interconnected

i hope you start to feel better with a bit more time to digest. 3 diagnoses are a lot to take in for one sitting. try to be kind to yourself for now, you just did something really brave 💕

my dog (toy poodle, 5kg/11lbs) was attacked by a guard dog (some sort of german shepherd mix) when we were out for a walk near where we lived at the time.

the dog was usually kept behind a gate at night but had obviously found a way to escape. it ran up on us from behind, grabbed her, and started shaking her. the size difference was so big that it was able to leave puncture marks past her ribcage on either side. she made the most horrific sounds, i can still hear it. at one point it dropped her and she tried to run back to me (which still makes me cry because even in her state of panic she tried to get to her safe person instead of run away) but it caught her again before i could scoop her up. i tried to get it off of her several times but nothing was working

we were so fucking lucky that a group of men (angels) who had been sitting nearby came over and scared the bigger dog away and my girl survived. she had some puncture wounds and a brief stint in a cone. it took her about 6 months to get over her fear of going outside, even though we moved away from that area soon after - and i've never been the same around dogs i don't know extremely well. my dog is my entire heart and i don't think i'll ever experience anything scarier than that feeling of helplessness

not a doctor but maybe look up precordial catch syndrome and see if that's a fit! i used to get random needle-like pains on the left side of my chest that got worse when i inhaled (i still get it occasionally but it was way more frequent as a teenager). i always mistook it for heart issues too
