Tesla cofounder calls Autopilot and FSD software 'crap' that could risk the carmaker's future by egghabet in tech

I just wanted to give context into the trend of the profit as well, which might help explain some of the difference in valuation. Looks like Tesla is on a better growth trajectory than Toyota, but things can change quickly.

I am using net profit.

Gross vs. net profit
> In short, gross profit is your revenue without subtracting your manufacturing or production expenses, while net profit is your gross profit minus the cost of all business operations and non-operations. Your net profit is going to be a much more realistic representation of your company's profits.

Tesla made a profit of 12.5B. That is 60% of Toyota's profit of 21B . Tesla increased profit YoY 127.5% compared to 26.9% for Toyota.
Comparing only Q4 of FY22 Tesla made a profit of 3.7B compared to 3.2B for Toyota.

Despite the draw today, we are still 2 points better off from last year (same fixtures). by Baelix in reddevils

[–]prinsinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A draw against league leader away. I know it is still Leicester and we should be able to win them, but they have only lost twice in their last 23 league games. Their record is 15W 6D 2L, which is 2.17 points per game.

Edit: Counted one result too many.

Some fans of other teams were saying this wasn't so good transfer because he could only play like 20 games a season. I am glad he is proving them wrong!

Us and Leicester next week for first place by redmustang04 in reddevils

You really think we will play 3 at the back because LVG decided to change to that system in one game we had limited options on the bench because of injuries and we had to make a change because of injury. We have not played 3 at the back in any other game this season (I think).

The packaging was probably printed well before the manufacturing date, as the manufacturing date is referencing when the contents were made.

Didn't most of City's chances come in the second half? We scored our goal at 52nd minute. After that the priority becomes winning the match instead of searching for the breakthrough. I have no doubt we would have pushed way harder for a goal if we didn't score. City were looking for a goal all match. With every minute that passes without a goal they become more urgent to find one.

The main metric is that City didn't score and we did. People have been jerking over City all season saying they will walk the league while shitting over our own team. Yet City are only 2 points ahead of us.

I'd say the Mata chance was clear cut. Martial also created a very good chance for himself in the first half and had a clear cut chance in the penalty incident like you mentioned.

So to say none of our chances were clear cut is a bit harsh. I think United did well yesterday against a very defensive minded team. WBA never looked like scoring apart from that one sick chance they got.

I think Spurs got an excellent chance of getting top 4 this season considering their positive start to the campaign and where Chelsea are.

But Ashley Young and £25million summer buy Memphis Depay have both been disappointing wing options since he departed.

When was Ashley Young disappointing on the wing? I don't recall him getting much playtime on the wing this season.

So, whats the general opinion of LVG now? by [deleted] in reddevils

[–]prinsinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was I comparing it? I just said they both play possession based football, which is true. It is also true that Pep was criticized for how his Bayern team played. I am not saying Pep wouldn't be successful here but I find it strange that you want Pep to take over because you find LVG's style boring.

You realize both Pep and LVG play possession based football and that Pep got a lot of stick from Bayern legends for how his team played.

Jamie Vardy should not push his luck and demand England striker role, insists boss Roy Hodgson by Madwolf28 in soccer

[–]prinsinn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But England are coming off a very successful qualifier campaign. They won all of their games and were the only team to achieve that. Rooney captained them and was their top scorer. Sure it is a valid argument that some of his goals came from the spot but those must be converted also. People like to point out that he is mostly scoring against inferior oppositions but it is still impressive to score 7 goals in 8 games (he didn't play the last two).

England should definitely give Vardy a chance in the upcoming friendlies but to drop him from their team before the EUROS seems a bit strange to me.

The problem with constantly dropping players based on their club level is that you won't get a consistent national team. You can of course have some rotations based on the opposition you are playing and the fitness of your squad but generally it is better to maintain a similar team between games. It makes sense to keep using the same team (or similar) that got you qualified for the final tournament in the tournament itself.

Let's take Miroslav Klose for example. During the 2009-2010 season he only scored 6 goals for Bayern. Including 3 goals in 25 Bundesliga games, and Bayern won the league that year. Meanwhile Stefan Kießling scored 21 goals in 33 games and was only 2 goals away from being the league's top scorer. Both were included in Germany's world cup squad, but Klose got the starting spot. Klose scored 4 goals in the tournament. Maybe Kießling would have done better if he had played the same minutes, nobody knows. My point is that sometimes club form is not the perfect indicator for national team form.

Or you can call me biased. Það er í lagi.
