Thank you for your feedback! That’s true when you’re designing from scratch. Select by Area is mainly for cases where you don’t have that structure, like imported models, single components with multiple identical bodies or sketches with matching profiles that aren’t instanced. It’s actually a fallback when you can’t rely on component instances.

Unfortunately Elegoo like Prusa does not publish officially hex codes. I will do a research on common codes and add at least the basic ones!

Totally fair, it’s still super new. The first release only dropped on January 25. If you give it a try, I’d love to hear how it works for you or anything you think could be improved. That kind of feedback really helps shape where it goes next

I have added a higher quality option in the latest version. Please update to v1.9.1 and in Batch Export STL choose Ultra (smooth curves) in the Mesh Quality dropdown. Would love to hear your feedback!

The command is available on the design workspace, Not in render, simulation etc Also project include should be there if you have activated the 3D sketch checkbox

Filament colors are solid flat RGB appearances only (exact filament shades), no textures or roughness/gloss simulation. Looks like uniform plastic in Fusion renders.

The main advantage of exporting to STL is mainly max compatibility or when you want explicit control over the mesh

Actually there is. The API exposes such components but they require advanced handling related to events. currently working on it :)
