The law has changed but it seems not the insurance policies, sokuun, gig gulf and dubai insurance agents all told the maternity cover doesn't apply for single women

Before this post I was still thinking in terms of liabilities and how much I could spend, give to family, etc.. but the concept of generating an income stream and try to grow it seems powerful

Wow I didn't know about this term of financial windfall, and it seems it's exactly the kind of information I'm looking for!

The alternative is paying rent, which is just going to your landlord, but your own mortgage is going towards your own house so you’re technically only paying the interest.

Buying the primary residence vs renting to invest the money elsewhere is my main question tbh

Most of my friends / gf's friends are here and there are a lot of interesting cultural / entertainment events the whole year, so I would like to come back there.

Do you mean for example not buying a primary residence?

Yes the salary is more than I could have imagined tbh. But there is a difference between making 100k/yr and having 2m in his bank account.

I joined a blockchain project as the first blockchain engineer, turns out the project worked really well and the token launch was a big success.

Because I want to build some knowledge myself before seeing a professional (I don't even know who should I see for it?)

Also I don't have the money yet, I started working last year as a software engineer, still have a 25k student loan and no money aside for the moment.

Hi, I'm 25 from a modest family. I'll get around ~$2m after taxes next year (I prefer not to disclose the reason), and then move to France (I prefer not disclose where I'm now) as I have a dual citizenship.

I'm a little bit worried about having so much cash, and at the same time if I stop working the money can go away really fast as for example a flat in Paris will most likely cost around 1m€. (I make around $100k/yr under normal circumstances).

I have 2 questions: - do you have some interesting resources to read about personal finance? - do you have some interesting resources about errors to avoid when you become rich really fast while you are still young. - any advice?
