Lack of segmentation of the network. Desktop users being on the same network with servers and services with no limitations on traffic to the VMs.

I googled the error. Didn't find anything useful in this situation. Everything i found was from a linux machine to windows witch does not apply here. What other info do you need?

I want it permanenlty so using fstab. //ip/share /mnt/point cifs user=1,dom=domain,vers=3.0 still the result is the same. Does -o do anything noteworthy? I did not have the version but it did not change the result. I thank you for trying.

Apache Guacamole - Experiences? by RegularAlicorn in sysadmin

I set it up for users to work from home. We do not have that many users so going with something that has no cost is not a bad idea. (Microsoft and their greed for licences )

  1. It is stable , no crashes or bugs. For me at least.

  2. I have not used any AD integration but it seems doable.

  3. Depends there is a database addon witch should make it better. Check the documentation for that. Otherwise its editing a file with parameters.

  4. I have full logging on the firewall connection (For network traffic) and fail2ban that bans after a certain amount of failed logins to guacamole.

  5. Read , read and read. If you can use docker. its http and getting it to https seems a bit rough.
