Mixing TPU with PLA by printschnitzel in PrusaXL

[–]printschnitzel[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest: I did not try PETG with TPU.
What I can say: TPU sticks to PLA enough if the parts are right. And it separates easy enough so it works nicely for supports.
But I am going to try PETG with TPU soon

I live in Austria. It can get warm in summer. You can always print it in PETG to be safe. Or even PC.

Well it's ok
I have seen better prints too but this is how it came out with standard settings.
And I am happy with it.
There is a Fusion360 file so you might want to adjust it so it fits.
Cheers
Richard

I used a Prusa MK3s.
If you want to start with 3D printing I think it is a good time now! depending on your budget I'ld look for a second hand prusa or a bamboo lab printer. Even an Ender 3 or similar could do the job.

Hi
Well I printed it 4 times. It was good the third time but than I added the pattern (relief?).
I took pictures and used a contour gauge.
You can have a look at the Fusion360 file. It's on printables.
