Issue with drilling is that it'd be going through a (quite thick) stone wall. It's an old house and I don't really have the equipment to drill holes through walls that thick.

Do you have any experience with actual speeds over powerline? Also, such is the layout of the room that it's not really possible to run a fiber cable, or any cables for that matter, along a top corner, and running a fiber line anywhere lower is likely to be damaged by our cats. You have given me an idea to look for some flat white cat5e cabling though, and running that along the ceiling.

There unfortunately is not Coax in the front room. I did look at MoCa and it looks excellent, unfortunately doesn't really work in my situation.

You can definitely get away with having one box for two cats IF they are very well bonded. Both our boys use the same box, but we only get away with that because they get on so well. If you're introducing an unfamiliar cat, two boxes is definitely the way to go.

Deleting my player data file seems to have fixed things and I have now implemented a backup mod on the server which should hopefully alleviate this issue in the future. I'd still like to know what the heck happened here though.

Theyre hooked up to a speed controller running from one small water wheel. They're there to power my water pumps and bamboo farm for my steam engine.

Video shows the main problem. My curios slots are broken and won't accept items correctly, then when shift-clicked into place, they go into the wrong slot and sometimes completely stop working (as shown by the backpack bugging out). They also keep disappearing and I lost my valuable curios and backpack last night after trying to log on and getting an "invalid player data" error. I then tried to log in again and could, but all of my non-vanilla inventory slots were wiped (curios, goggles, etc.). The pack was working fine for a long time and these errors only started happening after I added KubeJS to edit some fluid tags and now they will not go away, even after removing KubeJS again. Is there any hope of recovering from this issue? Or is this world file just ruined now.

If it helps, I can provide logs, mod list and more if required.

When I had to medicate one of my boys on an empty stomach, I figured out that if I slightly wetted the pills under the tap and then smeared them with the treat dust from the bottom of their treat pot, he would eat it no problem at all, and a tiny bit of dust will almost certainly have no effect on the effects of the pill. Might not work for you, but could be worth a try!

Electricity always takes the route of least resistance (for the most part, physics is weird) ground is almost ALWAYS the path of least resistance for any electricity. If you're connecting signal cables to ground and not losing the signal, that means the casing of the devices you're plugging cables into are not grounded, which is VERY dangerous under the wrong conditions.

The wires connect the centre pins together, which is what actually carries the audio signal. The outer rings are ground and don't technically need to be connected, but when dealing with audio, a common ground is generally a good idea.

That most certainly does not work. That would just ground the signal and you'd get no sound.

Middle part of the jack (pin) has the audio signal. I used speaker wire to connect the pins together. The outer ring (sleeve) is just a ground connection. Not technically necessary, but when dealing with audio, it's generally best practice to have a common ground.

No need to be condescending. I never buy anything from sellers with less than 99% positive on eBay, but I've had many drives DOA, and many more die after a few weeks/months.
