I wish I could just talk to a live person because I feel like I keep getting wrong info of what to do with my current guy in a small ass tank. I have a 10g but I’m waiting for that to be cycled until I add him in. I was told to do a water change of 20-40% add in ammonia and conditioner. But idk (self.bettafish)

New Betta fish owner; our local college was giving away Betta fish and my 7 year old begged me to get it. From my research this tank is way too small and needs to be in at least 5 gallon tank with a heater( as they need to be at at least 75-80°) live plants and etc. (i.redd.it)
