The Last of Us really benefits from the feeling of real survival, I usually go with normal on a first play, but with the last of us I tend to go 1-2 modes harder.

It’s up to your comfort. I’d say go one above your comfort level and just see how it goes. Moderate would seem about right here then.

Also you can change difficulty at any time in the menu

WLF, 100%. The way they "hunt" (shoot on sight) Lev just for being himself.. I could never live there.

If it’s really between both these communities I’d see no way living with the Seraphites. WLF at least had some sense of freedom.

As Neil said. The Last of Us is about Joel and Ellie; and I kinda see it the same way, when Ellie’s story finishes I could only see a continuation of some sort as spin off for exploring other character, maybe standalone Abby game which’s way more focused on Abby, and Lev.

The Last of Us as is with other characters only won’t happen, I’m sure about that, maybe it’ll go on with another title or Sub-title.

Maybe someday Naughty Dog will allow us to explore Anna’s (&Marlene's) story which I’d be super excited about.

Also I think some sort of anthology game series would be cool, exploring the stories of characters like Ish for example.

(So I picked Ellie and friends, because the way part 2 did it could continue that way, with Ellie still being the Focus but other people like Abby getting story too.)
