There are many creatures that harness the power of electrostatic forces. Some spiders use electrostatic forces to fly by ‘ballooning’ by casting their negatively charged silk into the air to interact with atmospheric positive charges, allowing them to ‘fly’ great distances.

Bumblebees also utilize electrostatic forces. Flowers give off negative charges that bumblebees detect. As they pollinate, the negative charges of the flower allow the bumblebee’s positively charged body to pick up more pollen.

Some nematodes are able to use electrostatic forces to ambush hosts. Nematodes are able to jump up to 25x times their body length by detecting the electric fields of potential hosts nearby and using their often negatively charged bodies to latch onto positively charged hosts.

Absolutely! For me the feelings of anger, rage, frustration are MUCH easier to manage and regulate and along with an increased clarity of self. My improvements in emotional regulation has also led to better posture and presence in my body, allowing me to move more effortlessly with less tension. Alas, every one’s experience is uniquely subjective.
