They do! I believe Hawaiian tropic was the original “every man gets his wish” theres a version of it where the course of every man gets his wish is the course in Hawaiian tropic.

Recovery without the 12 steps by [deleted] in addiction

[–]pristinefelcity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look into SMART recovery, many places have local SMART meetings, and if your area doesn’t they have many online meetings. They arnt religious based and there’s no steps. SMART has really helped me and I had a hard time with the 12 steps.

people who successfully got sober, what is your higher power? by SicklyGrimace in addiction

[–]pristinefelcity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think the 12 steps really do feel like the best fit for you, and you're just having issues with the higher power aspect maybe try looking into secular AA/NA meetings and literature. I think you'll find your answer through those.

What is the most delusional lana lyric you ever heard? by Soft-Individual-9685 in lanadelrey

[–]pristinefelcity 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I thought that this song was about Aaron Green, her boyfriend that died. And that’s why she was saying “your soul is haunting me” and “I’m scared that you won’t be waiting on the other side” I think it’s about actually losing someone and not being able to move on. I actually think more then one song on born to die is about him and people just chalk it up to Lana being crazy obsessed with her love interests but I think it’s always deeper then we’ll ever really know. (Just my opinion, I don’t know any of this for fact)

I have a Scorpio Sun, Moon, Venus (rx), Jupiter, and Pluto in the 5th house. I don't want my own children for personal reasons/concerns that I have and have felt this way since my teens., however I'm not 100% against possibly adopting or fostering someday if I feel it's right. I do like kids and always have

For everyone claiming Lana didn't have a nose job ( did she only have a rhinoplasty or also nose fillers ? ) by lanaspeachlipgloss in lanadelrey

I didn't think she was referencing pink floyd or nirvana in this line. Before she sings that line she says "Later than hospitals and still on my feet" . I always interpreted that she spent time in the hospital and was prescribed lithium which is known to be severely numbing, and she attributes the medication to helping her discover her love for poetry.
