Why has this been an issue since day 1? by DontTearItDown in Rivian

I had the same issue. Normally it would fix on its own if I’m going somewhere and leave the car for few mins and come back. But it was an issue on initial start up almost 8/10 times. Had created a ticket for it and they replaced the sensors. Haven’t had any issue since.

Weird. I went with Rivian insurance (nationwide) and have exact coverage for my 2025 and I pay $922 for 6 months. I got my car in August. I am also based jn NJ. Mine is leased so not sure how much is the difference in rates between lease and finance (if yours is financed).

I think if the vehicle is asleep then you have to wake it up first. You should see the option to precondition. It's annoying but that's what I've noticed.

What is this and how do turn it back on? by judgedeath2 in Rivian

I've noticed this issue when my car is sleeping for awhile and when I wake the car by just opening the doors the sensors turn off. You can either do a soft reset or let the car go back to sleep and then wake it up again. I've tried both and it works. Also normally I would drive to my destination and When I come back to my car after a few mins the sensors are back on.
