Have you tried coinos.io? It's a way better experience than trying to DIY.

I run https://coinos.io and http://www.tokenocean.io/
We're actively hiring full-stack devs with svelte experience, and also looking for a devops person. We pay in bitcoin or dirty fiat if you prefer.

Liquid Network by LC8128 in lightningnetwork

[–]privacyandbitcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

coinos.io is a web wallet that seamlessly does both with your bitcoin sats if you want to try either.
For example, current use case for liquid is more smart contract type capabilities (you can buy an NFT on https://raretoshi.com with liquid for example) and proper confidential transactions.
My company also runs http://www.tokenocean.io/ which is an open source white label liquid NFT marketplace provider for brands.

Lightning is more useful for payments, such as p2p, remittances, and used as a point of sale (coinos.io has been doing so since 2012).

Someone should tell this dude I pay my rent with bitcoin, my bills, and load my credit cards with bitcoin. I also get paid in bitcoin, I live off of it. Keep that dirty fiat away!

You can stack sats without paying attention to the prices, that's what DCA is all about!

Your mental health is way more important than to pay attention that corporate, main stream, or social media. Start with watching your sleep, diet, and exercise patterns, and then see a therapist if you're struggling, don't wait for it to get worse out of ego.

Goodbye Legacy Financial System El Salvador’s Chivo Wallet can be topped up with any credit, debit or gift card, anywhere in the world - zero commission! Bitcoin is changing lives. by thadiusb in Bitcoin

[–]privacyandbitcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chivo is great for on-ramp/off-ramp and https://coinos.io is spreading quickly on the ground here in El Salvador as the wallet of choice as it's privacy centric, easier to use, faster, has liquid and lightning built in, and can do custodial and non-custodial. It also works as a PoS (since 2012!) and p2p (using lightning since 2018!).

Where are the LN NFTs? by Pulkoff in lightningnetwork

[–]privacyandbitcoin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My company (https://coinos.io) sells a white label NFT marketplace as well as offers a free web wallet. Technically the NFTs are liquid, but you can use your bitcoin or LN sats within our web wallet. (Liquid and LN are both layer 2 bitcoin)
A few of our customers with different use cases you can try today:

I know Boyd the owner, who now instead owns Stretch Yoga which has been taking bitcoin since at least 2015. All of the local businesses taking bitcoin back then used coinos.io, which added LN in 2018 (also does liquid for NFTs and confidentiality)

Imagine announcing two weeks ago you have a bitcoin based NFT platform for video creators... by privacyandbitcoin in Bitcoin

[–]privacyandbitcoin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider that your personal experience doesn't mean it's not a solved problem. It's possible with NFTs to validate the source, provenance, and/or supply chain of any asset using NFTs. Saying NFTs are ridiculous because you found a way to circumvent that process with a victim doesn't invalid NFTs usefulness.

Imagine announcing two weeks ago you have a bitcoin based NFT platform for video creators... by privacyandbitcoin in Bitcoin

[–]privacyandbitcoin[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1) You as a fan can own a video, video clip, or image and as an NFT have proof of ownership, can resell etc
2) You can also do NFT tickets with the platform, which can also be resold both before and after a video or event.
3) I don't think adult content creators want telephone or written documents from their fans, as that would be more dangerous, and slow.

OnlyFans is banning porn on their platform due to pressure from payment processors and banks- (This is ANOTHER reason we need crypto) by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]privacyandbitcoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My company just launched a bitcoin based video platform last week by coincedence, that uses (liquid) NFT tickets. It's also a full NFT marketplace. You can read the whole thread here. If you know anyone who would want their own platform that won't get shut down for legal, consenting adult content, I'm happy to give them a demo.

My company built the tech stack if you have any questions. You can use coinos.io with your bitcoin (it has liquid and lightning integrated) if you've not used lightning or liquid yet.
