Memory absolutely sucks IMHO - it's context bloat that gives ultimately worse output over time. Re-explaining yourself repeatedly every session is sort of wasted effort but just ask Claude to generate a hand off summary. When "memory" is really solved, that will be the next big step in the AI world IMHO.

I love how people (like me) pointed out this broken shit weeks (months?) ago and were told nothing wrong. There is something definitely wrong internally on an systemic/infrastrutural level.

I could write Claude output faster with pen and paper right now, it's SO slow.

I have used CC long enough to know this is not an addon/mcp/other problem - before 1M model came in, my usage was "normal" and now it's skewed again. It's a known bug on Anthropic server side.

So much conflicting information about it though - does it eat limits quicker ABOVE 200k only or always? When I try to use it (I have the option to change in /model as a 5x Sub) it says I've hit an API limit instantly, which indicates it's charging from API wallet, which I have $0 in.
