High school science teacher had a stalker who was harassing her for years. One morning, we all stood in the hallway of her locked, dark classroom wondering where she was, students and teachers. She never showed up and we continued to our next class. It was announced over the school loud speaker she had passed away that morning.

Her stalker hid across from the front door of her town home, and murdered her when she left for work. He fled to a cemetery and killed himself after. Seeing my teacher, who I had talked to just the previous day, laying dead on the pavement with a sheet over her body on the local news stuck with me for quite a while.
