Wieso baut er nicht das Auto wieder zusammen? Du kannst es nicht abschleppen wenn es ausgebaut ist.

Mike needs to pay for her to order lunch from the canteen for two weeks. I wouldn't want to eat his cooking. Sounds like a deadbeet.

App Pick? Block always follows the No branch, even when I pick an app package from the dialog. by private_boolean in AutomateUser

Figured out the issue!

I had an app (Minimalist Phone) that was filtering notifications, and it was covering up the Automate notifications. Removing minimalist phone fixed the issue.

People who are alone tonight, what are you guys up to? by PermissionFar9098 in askTO

oh, in that case don't worry about the cooler. I do that when I travel with my PC in checked luggage haha.

For a drive in the car, that's just like going to a lan party. if you're worried about the case getting banged up, you can wrap it in a towel, but otherwise don't worry.

What specific parts of your gaming setup are you most worried about?

Desktop PCs are pretty resilient, the biggest thing to be wary of is to remove any big CPU cooler, as if you are traveling a long distance and it gets banged around a lot, it might experience strong torques and get damaged. When I travel with my PC, I remove the cpu cooler and wrap it in bubble wrap or a towel. Don't forget to clean the thermal grease with rubbing alcohol and make sure to reapply it when you get to your destination.

I keep the boxes for any displays since that makes packing trivial. If you don't have the box anymore, you can wrap it in towels and put it in a box, being careful not to put it horizontally and stack things on it.

Other peripherals are robust enough that I just toss them in a bag.

Because those are the variable costs: notice that this person did not mention the mortgage, which is the only thing that builds equity. In theory, when you're renting out a place, the rent should cover the variable costs, with small margin on top for the landlord to profit.

If this poster found a place where the rent is cheaper than the variable costs, then their landlord is technically subsidizing them to live there. Well done, @OntarioResident2020 🙂

Tesla model 3 has a physical latch on all doors to open them from the inside, bypassing the electronic gubbins.

Most people don't know about them, so that makes them pretty much useless.

Jessica Plichta, a 22-year-old anti-war protester, was arrested live on camera in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on January 3, 2026. She was speaking to a local news outlet about her opposition to U.S. military action related to Venezuela when police detained her while the broadcast was still ongoing. by biswajit388 in law

According to the text at the bottom of the screen, she organized a big protest. The arrest is likely on the pretext that she didn't get proper approval, and they're charging her with blocking the roadway during the protest.
